The Positive Planner is more than just a book or even a journal for mental health. It is a 10 week journey to changing your mindset. The book makes clear that consistency is key and this is a project that requires active engagement. It includes pages for making plans regarding diet and exercise and well as pages for the user to engage in self-reflection in addition to exploring the perspectives of others. This repitition, combined with interesting exercises (such as free-writing), is intended to build up positive habits, hence the title.
