Paddington is the story of a bear who travels to London from Peru and discovers a taste for marmalade. His love of cream and jam as well, gets him into trouble and it isn't long after leaving the train station that his fur is in a mess. A kind family invites him into their home for a bath and the Paddington saga of love and companionship begins. This is an incredible book for young readers, with a full paragraph on almost every page but with such clear illustrations that any child will be reading it for themselves before long.
